JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage effective communication with tactical counterpart.

• Together with the commodity manager, develop the commodity by managing projects that would include the preparation of business cases and commodity profiles
• Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of any Bachelor's / College Degree in Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in sourcing and supplier management, including implementing cost savings
• Confidence with cost management
• Materials Management background MRP, ERP software.
• Experience in a Materials Management or similar role.
• Previous experience within a global purchasing environment, implementing strategies
• Proven track record of achievement in a relevant position
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly data and cost management
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year
• Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan
• With at least a year in his/her current position

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Engineer to develop and manage sourcing strategies for critical refrigerator components. This role ensures cost efficiency, quality, and reliability while bridging engineering, procurement, and supplier management to support long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for refrigerator parts (compressors, heat exchangers, plastics, sheet metals, electronic controls, etc.)
• Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers to drive cost competitiveness, innovation, and supply continuity

• Experience in the Hospitality/BPO/HR Shared services organizations would be a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply judgment to ambiguous situations required
