Summary Description
Dover Business Services (DBS) is looking for talented Tax Center of Excellence Specialist to join our new shared service center in Cebu, Philippines. Working within an emerging shared services organization, the Tax Center of Excellence Specialist is responsible for delivering timely and quality service to internal stakeholders and Dover suppliers, as measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. Essential Responsibilities

Qualifications

The Center of Excellence Officer executes the strategy and operational objectives of the TPMO department. The Center of Excellence Officer ensures the effective implementation of defined services and continuous improvement to enable the efficient TPMO and project management practices, processes, and methodologies across the group.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards to facilitate consistent TPMO and project management practices
- Supports the development and maintenance of project delivery templates and tools to support project teams.
- Studies project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously evaluates and improves the TPMO's processes, tools, and services to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Coordinates with stakeholders across the organization to identify and address project needs

Qualifications

Summary Description: Dover Business Services (DBS) is looking for talented Tax Center of Excellence Analyst to join our new shared service center in Cebu, Philippines. Working within an emerging shared services organization, the Tax Center of Excellence Analyst is responsible for delivering timely and quality service to internal stakeholders and Dover suppliers, as measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. As a Tax Center of Excellence Analyst you will be responsible for operational processing to include data collection and management, account reconciliation and tracking of correspondence.

Essential Responsibilities
- Review and collect tax exemption certificates, including during sales tax audits
- Analyzes, reviews, interprets and validates the data supplied by the Business Unit and/or Financial Systems for the tax relevant financial, internal and external reporting requirements relating to sales tax exemption certificates
- Assist with tax registrations and other reporting/compliance requirements.
- Perform tax research for tax transaction issues and be involved in continuous efforts to keep up to date with tax developments
- Assist with tax process improvements projects, which may include software implementation, automation, or workpaper improvement and ongoing continuous process improvement;
- Assist in developing and establishing procedures and controls for sales tax exemption certificates
- Maintain tax automation and reporting tools, particularly for exemption certificates
- Interact with stakeholders, customers and internal teams in a courteous and responsible manner, to resolve issues, concerns and provide updates on
- Support transitions and other projects for tax related activities
- Interact with taxing authorities to gather information necessary for tax compliance requirements and other concerns
- Maintain productivity and meet service level agreements in a complex environment, including working with and referencing data in taxation systems
- Assist with other projects or duties as assigned, including continuous improvement efforts Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in Taxation or related field; fresh graduates may be accepted
- Working knowledge in International Indirect Taxation (Sales +VAT) is an advantage
- Experienced in using Oracle and/or other ERP systems
- Advantage: Experience in Vertex, Sabrix or other tax system
