We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Post-Production Department.
In this role you will be working with a talented team which consists of Hybrid Editors, Motion Graphic Designers, Online Artists, Audio Engineer, Post Producers and Audio Producers. The Production Manager is responsible for the overall production planning, executing, and controlling of the post-production operations team. He/she will have strong commercial awareness, combined with excellent customer service and communication skills, and be able to coach, inspire and motivate their team to perform to an equally high standard. He/she will ensure consistent delivery of all activities to the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Shift Production planning in close liaison with the Team Leader/Post Producer & Audio Producer.
- Lead all implementations within the team.
- Possess strong knowledge of understanding of all activities within the team.
- Assuming responsibility for ensuring that all jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe and SLA's.
- Periodical reports to understand the team's performance.
- Planning capacity to handle spikes in demand.
- Being involved in the recruitment and selection of team staff
- Appreciation, adherence and enforcement of Hogarth key policies.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of brands.
- Communicate with all stakeholders articulately, sharing and documenting any issues or knowledge to ensure consistency.
- Demonstrate good artwork judgement when giving direction or problem solving.
- Monitoring and measuring the team's performance against KPIs and SLAs and driving resolutions.
- Provide guidance and coaching to employees and help in ensuring that skill gaps are addressed.
Requirements:
- Five year's management experience in a production setup.
- Knowledgeable in post-production processes such as video editing, motion graphics, VFX/CGI and audio post engineering.
- Competent in key Creative Suite programs (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other post-production software such as Cinema 4D, Nuke and Pro Tools.
- Knowledgeable in post-production workflows and broadcast standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, and a flexible, logical and proactive approach

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basecamp & Expedition Readiness
- Oversee daily operations across all Castaway basecamps to ensure they are consistently clean, equipped, and guest-ready
- Supervise caretakers and logistics teams in managing supplies, equipment, and camp conditions
- Monitor the condition of all camp infrastructure and assets; coordinate repairs and replacements proactively
Team Leadership & Tour Support
- Supervise, coach, and enforce discipline among tour guides, boat crew, and basecamp staff
- Ensure all team members adhere to Castaway's safety protocols, service standards, and code of conduct
- Provide hands-on leadership during expedition days, offering real-time problem-solving and support
Staff Development & Scheduling

Guest Experience Management

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years experience in a leadership or supervisory role in tourism, hospitality, logistics, or outdoor expedition operations

- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and real-time decision-making skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working irregular hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

- Certified First Aider or willing to be certified
