Role Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (report building, dashboard development, and data visualization).

Solid expertise in SQL development and advanced query writing.

Strong background in working with data (data analysis, data modeling, transformations, and reporting).

Experience working in the data space (data engineering, reporting, or analytics).

Ability to work with existing Power BI reports, particularly those transitioning from mainframe to BigQuery.

Exposure to Oracle Cloud is a plus, but not mandatory. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience as the organization transitions its procurement and supply chain systems to Oracle Cloud.

Familiarity with procurement/supply chain domain is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reports.

Develop new Power BI reports and dashboards as required.

The Role

The Power BI Consultant will be part of a global team and be responsible for supporting Power BI report builds for new clients and enhancing Power BI reporting for existing clients. Working alongside our Reporting Implementation Lead you will be taking their vision/direction and producing impactful analytics in Power BI that transform the way a client uses their data to make decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop bespoke Power BI Dashboards from templates using data from applicant tracking systems and Korn Ferry's internal data warehouse.
• Enhance Power BI reports to allow our end users to Interpret and analyze data to identify important trends and measure performance against goals
• Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively audit data, highlight any variances to the business and help improve data quality.
• Help to continually improve data management, suggest opportunities to avoid problems and anticipate future data needs.

Skills & Experience
:

• Experience working with Power BI (end-to-end development)
• Experience in transforming data using Power Query or M
• Confident user of DAX
• Capability to manipulate, visualize and present data in an understandable and aesthetically pleasing way
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to engage and consult with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Key Responsibilities:

Lead discovery sessions with clients to determine reporting requirements

Collaborate with clients to explain and select Power BI licensing options, highlighting benefits and limitations

Design efficient star schema data models, including calculated columns and measures

Develop Power BI solutions by importing data from multiple sources, creating reports, dashboards, and data models using DAX and queries

Support clients in deploying Power BI solutions via the Power BI service, including configuring gateways, DirectQuery, DataFlows, and data refresh processes

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience

Over 5 years of experience working with data and BI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem (such as SSRS, Power BI, PowerPivot, PerformancePoint) or other BI platforms like Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, SAP

Proficiency in T-SQL, data modeling, and report development using Power BI or similar tools

Proven ability to design comprehensive Power BI reports with features like drilldowns, linked content, and nested parameters

Advanced skills in creating dynamic measures with DAX

Experience with data transformation and mashups using Power Query/M language

Hands-on experience with Databricks for developing and refining data pipelines

Ability to communicate visual design choices and interaction features effectively
