Position Overview

Essential Functions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guiding arriving and departing aircraft.
• Supervises loading and unloading of arriving and departing aircraft cargo, baggage, and mail.
• Perform Cabin Inspections such as cabin maintenance and cleaning services, including restocking the aircraft.
• Comply with all airport authority and carrier security requirements including adhering to the company's Standard Operating Procedures
• Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Supervises ramp operations
• Other job-related responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• With associate or any equivalent certificate in the relevant fields.
• Past ramp experience preferred
• Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations.
• Possess professional disposition with interpersonal skills.

YOUR ROLE AS A Ramp Agent:

This role is to perform ground handling activities around the aircraft for all arrival, transit activities and departure of all aircraft within the specified turn-around time during assigned tour of duty period.

*WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION: *

• To perform loading and unloading of baggage and cargo activities at baggage sorting areas, aircraft, and arrival hall as per company requirements
• To operate Ground Service Equipment (non-motorized and motorized equipment, if qualified) as per SOP for ground handling activities
• To ensure all operational equipment to be used for operations are in serviceable condition
• To adhere to SOP & safety operation procedure
• To perform any other activities related to Ground Handling as required by the Company

*WHO YOU ARE: *

• Must be physically fit
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledgeable in Google Suites.
• Able to maintain high confidentiality, tact, and discretion when dealing with people.
• Able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop and climb repetitively and work in confined space.
• Able to lift 70 lbs. Respectively.
• With complete vaccination against COVID19 (+booster vaccine) preferred
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to work shift work - early mornings, evenings, weekends,  statutory holidays, overtime whenever needed.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the related industry/function is an advantage.
• Having a Professional Driver's License with restrictions of 2 and 3 is an advantage.
