Duties & Responsibilities *
Aircraft Maintenance and Servicing Practices as Applicable/Appropriate:

• Accomplishes Scheduled Maintenance and Servicing of Aircraft's Airframe, Powerplant Systems and related Components as required and in reference to applicable and current Aircraft's Maintenance Manuals/ Technical References.
• Performs Tear Down, Testing, Inspections, Troubleshooting, Repair and Modification (As applicable) Airframe, Powerplant and associated System/Components i.a.w. the Approved /Current/Applicable OEM Maintenance Manual/Technical References.
• Accomplishes Airworthiness Publications such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Alert Service Bulletins and Related Technical Publications to Ensure Continued Aircraft Airworthiness Improvement and Sustainable Maintenance Programs.
• Certify maintenance tasks i.a.w. the Release Authorization with Appropriate Rating (As specified) Issued by AHPI Quality Department in respect to the Maintenance Ratings and Approvals by Governing National Civil Aviation Authority (i.e. CAAP, EASA, FAA.).
• Ensure Delegated Maintenance Work Packages are Completed in an efficient and cost effective manner, thus this should not compromise Quality and Safety Standards.
• Perform other Tasks as directed by the Immediate Supervisor as Reasonable and Practical in line with general scope of his/her skills and expertise, In Addition to Work Related Inherent Administrative Matters.

Professional skills:

• Bachelor of Science, 4 years Degree Course in Engineering (Preferably in Aviation/Aerospace, Specializing Airframe and Powerplant
• 2 years or more, Relevant Experience in Aviation Maintenance and Engineering (Rotary Aircraft / Helicopter Maintenance Experiences is an Advantage)
• Specialized Training and Certificates as Appropriate/Relevant
• Valid and Current Governing National Aviation Authority License (i.e. CAAP, EASA, FAA .), as applicable

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for the support of aircraft maintenance activities in compliance with company standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Assist with inspect, test, troubleshoot and service the aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment during daily operation (for Avionics Technician)

Assist with inspect, test, troubleshoot and service the aircraft mechanical work during daily operation (for Airframe Technician)

Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.

Set up and operate ground support and test equipment.

Ensure all maintenance tasks assigned are carried out in a timely manner and under appropriate procedure.

Liaise with those departments necessary to complete the tasks.

Document work performed on the aircraft into the computerized system.

Ensure the working area always maintains neat and tidy condition.

Maintain good team collaborate.

10.  Ensure all time bookings are accurate.

11.  Assist Maintenance Supervisor, and support Quality Assurance to investigate and report on aircraft incidents and raise safety report as required.

12.  Raise safety reports on any deficiencies which may have an adverse effect on airworthiness and serviceability of tools / equipment found.

13.  Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance

We're looking for an Aircraft Mechanic for our client in Germany that is one of Europe's leading, independent MROs.

The Company:

This Aircraft Maintenance is a privately owned EASA Part 145 approved MRO organization with it headquarter in the heart of Europe  – at the former military airport Hahn (HHN). Operating throughout Germany, it provides a wide range of aircraft maintenance services and engineering, offering up to 10 simultaneous lines of base maintenance on both narrow and wide body fleet at HHN & ERF locations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft within the airframe and engine areas.
• Independently install construction parts onto assemblies in line with technical drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out installation tasks and functional tests in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assess and prioritize unscheduled maintenance requirements (triage).
• Conduct structural repairs on airframe components, including metal and fiber-composite parts.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
• Escalate and report critical issues to the Lead Mechanic or Certified B1.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Candidates must possess an EASA P.66 license and at least the type ratings for Airbus A320 and B737 or A330 with the corresponding engines.
