• Overhauls and repairs engines and transmissions on gas and diesel equipment
• Performs tune-ups on vehicles
• Overhauls, repairs, and/or replaces other vehicle parts such as steering and brake systems
• Replaces shock absorber, checks and balances wheels and checks for proper tire alignment
• Performs diversified electrical work on all automotive and related equipment, such as servicing, installing batteries and terminals, repairing and adjusting lights, repairing generators and starters
• Perform emission control repair, replacement, and testing on all required vehicles
• Road tests vehicles to locate operational defects
• Operates shop machines such as milling and metal lathes, to rebuild or fabricate machine parts

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Automotive with TESDA
• Knowledgeable in European and American cars is a must
• Must be hardworking, honest, responsible with good communication skills
• Can work under pressure with minimum supervision
• With at least two (2) year experience in diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of automobiles or equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, abilities have been achieved
• Must know how to drive (Driver's License RC #1,2,3)

Auto Mechanic

Qualifications:

• May hands-on experience bilang auto mechanic.
• Marunong gumamit ng diagnostic equipment at repair tools.
• Physically fit at kayang magtrabaho under pressure.
• Good communication skills at marunong makipag-deal sa customers.

Auto Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, repairing vehicles and overall preventive maintenance services.

Responsibilities

· Reports correct assessment of unit trouble shooting

· Performs major and minor mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on automotive and heavy equipment vehicles

The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing automotive issues, performing repairs efficiently, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

• Inspect vehicles using diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical problems.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm reported issues and post-repair performance.
• Communicate findings to service advisors or directly to customers.

Repairs & Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake servicing, tire rotation, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Conduct more complex repairs such as engine repair, transmission servicing, suspension work, cooling system maintenance, and exhaust repairs.
• Replace or repair faulty parts using hand tools and specialized equipment.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete service reports detailing repairs performed, parts used, and labor hours.
• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and shop tools used.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and technical service bulletins.

Equipment & Safety

• Use diagnostic and repair tools, including scan tools, lifts, air tools, and torque wrenches.
• Adhere to company and industry safety standards, including wearing appropriate PPE and handling hazardous materials properly.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in auto repair preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an auto mechanic or technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, steering, electrical, and HVAC.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair software.
• Valid driver's license (required).
• ASE certification(s) preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to continue training on new vehicle technologies and systems.

• Working with the manager and other mechanics to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.

• Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.
• Using shop equipment as instructed, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.

• Preferably with TESDA or automotive mechanic certification.
