**Your Day-to-Day:**
· Complete hardware requests: Oversee and fulfil hardware needs for a specific global region, ensuring all requests are processed efficiently
· Maintain the IT Asset Database: Ensure database tracking all IT assets (like computers, servers, and other equipment) is documented and assigned in the database, verified and audited as required.
· Meet internal metrics: Proactively forecast and ensure the timely procurement and management of IT hardware assets to consistently meet internal deadlines and fulfil organizational agreements.
· Keep an Accurate Asset Inventory: Update and You must regularly update and maintain a complete inventory of all technology assets, ensuring that only authorized hardware is used in the organization's systems.
· Support Colleagues and Initiatives: Help navigate IT Asset Management processes and procedures to addressing the needs of the colleagues and business, communicating and providing guidance as necessary.
**What You Bring to The Team:**
· 3+ years of IT Asset Management
· 1+ years of demonstrated experience with ServiceNow?
· Supply Chain Management and/or logistics experience preferred.
· ITIL Foundation V4 or newer desired
· Associate's degree or equivalent
· General knowledge of commonly used hardware in a global enterprise setting
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills

The Software Asset Management Analyst is a pivotal role responsible for optimizing and managing software assets for Elsevier. This multifaceted position involves coordinating software requests, liaising with vendors, ensuring compliance, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives. The analyst will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to support the complete software asset management lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in maintaining Software Asset Management processes by meticulously documenting software licensing records, conducting ad-hoc research, and generating insightful reports on software entitlements.
+ Ensure meticulous documentation of all software purchase requests and that completed entitlement-related records are efficiently conveyed to the SAM Entitlements team.
+ Efficiently handle email inquiries related to Software Asset Management activities within Elsevier, providing timely and responsive support.
+ Proactively manage the FreshService ticketing systems, updating status changes and pertinent information, and ensuring prompt and accurate responses to software requests.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet software needs and liaise with end users to collect necessary information for software procurement and allocation.
+ Interact with various software vendors to obtain and analyze quotes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compatibility, and maintaining professional relationships to facilitate efficient procurement processes.
+ Generate purchase requisitions for the SAM and technology sourcing, ensuring all requirements are accurately captured and documented in the Oracle financial system.
+ Expertly use the Oracle financial system to generate purchase requisitions for approved software requests.
+ Manage software expiration notifications within the ELSSAM mailbox, offering timely guidance to end users on subscription renewals.
+ Work with the team to resolve general queries related to account or software issues, including payment inquiries managed by internal accounts teams.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a flexible and comprehensive approach to SAM within Elsevier.

Responsibilities: Monitor, facilitate, and ensure Asset Management System (AMS) implementation at the site as per ISO55001 requirements, IAM framework, Coal BU Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), and site AM plans.Assist and support AM Manager in leading, promoting, and maintaining accreditation to ISO 55001 standards at the station.Coordinate with the AP Asset Management team on cascading established standards and guidelines.Act as the internal audit representative for AMS at the site and collaborate with AP Internal Audit and Coal BU BPM team to align on internal process controls requirements.Maintain the Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP) database.Monitor and maintain the E-MOC registry per site.Track RCA and monitor effective corrective action implementation and status.Serve as custodian and key user of Asset Strategy Management function (GE Asset Performance Management), ensuring implementation of agreed asset strategies.Facilitate site training, workshops, and cascades for AMS, E-MOC, RCA process implementation.Work closely with Finance & Accounting team on fixed asset registry and asset life cycle costing analysis.Utilize EAM (IBM Maximo) to support sound asset management practice for Asset, Work, and Inventory Management processes.Conduct scheduled Maximo process and data audits looking for inefficiencies.Perform proactive error checks in Maximo.Support O&M in reviewing and updating asset strategies and preparing budgetary requirements.Prepare asset management reports and create functional specifications for Maximo reports and KPIs.Ensure Maximo asset registries conform to functional hierarchical standards (e.g., ISO14224).Others:

he PAM Assistant and I.T. Support performs a variety of skilled technical work, and provides direct assistance to the PAM Head.
