JOB PURPOSE
As a Store Supervisor, you develop the performance of the store in all key areas including commercial success, achievement of target sales, efficient store operations, staffing, promotional programs, customer service and inventory management. You also serve as financial analyst of the company owned stores which responsibilities will focus on the financial planning, analysis and projection for company owned stores.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Store Administration
· Ensures store is open during designated hours
· Maintains adequate and appropriate staff
· Adheres to contract agreement
· Maintains the store premise in a safe, secure manner
· Implements high standard of cleanliness and tidiness of the premise at all times
· Complies with all laws, rules, regulations and policies
· Acts as the point of contact and executor for HR related functions associated to supervision of sales personnel, including monitoring of offenses, timekeeping and preparation of evaluations.

· Maintains open communication with District Manager and other concerned departments like Warehouse, promotions, Accounting HR etc.

· Assists and supervises proper promotion of the store to the nearby communities, i.e., by establishing and nurturing proper contacts with the nearby entities such as baranggay hall, baranggay health centers, homeowners associations, Cooperatives, tricycle/pedicab, jeep, Senior Citizens Association, Diabetic Clubs, civic and religious organizations and other relevant groups
· Makes recommendations in terms of product displays/merchandising

· Ensures complete training and development of store personnel

· Responsible for financial planning, analysis and projection of company owned stores including CAPEX budgeting. Conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
· Analyzes trends and financial status of the specific stores by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; providing financial movements, insights and recommending actions based on sound analysis
· Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with budget and forecasts.
· Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's/College Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Management or equivalent
· 2-3 years relevant experience in retail/drugstore
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Reporting directly to the Retail Operations Manager, the Area Supervisor will work hand-in-hand with the Channel Sales Manager to manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of their stores by directing all operational aspects of each store and driving sales whilst minimizing costs. An area may consist of between eight and twenty stores.
STORE OPERATIONS
- Deals with staffing issues such as interviewing and recruitment of potential staff;
- Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Ensures standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met with proper in house product and customer service training;
- Tours the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues;
