About the Role

We're looking for a dependable and technically skilled
Freelance AI & API Integration Specialist
to support our
UK-based diversity job board
on an
as-needed, on-call basis

You'll help us connect our platform with various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job boards, build lightweight automations (including AI-driven matching tools), and liaise directly with ATS vendors to secure integration access and cooperation.

This role is
fully remote, flexible, and task-based
- ideal for someone who can jump in quickly when needed and deliver results without heavy oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver API integrations between our job board, ATS systems, and external recruitment tools.
• Build small-scale automations to process candidate data and match it with vacancies (using GPT or similar AI tools).
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration/data flow issues quickly.
• Reach out to ATS vendors to request API access and build relationships for technical onboarding.
• Clearly communicate our value proposition as a UK diversity job board to encourage ATS cooperation.
• Document work clearly for future internal reference.
• Be available on an ad-hoc basis to pick up tasks as they arise.

Skills & Experience

Technical

• Strong experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).

Your Day-to-Day

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enable scalable and repeatable infrastructure deployments

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.
