JOB PURPOSE:

The position is responsible for delivering the highest quality of care to VIP Members and/or regular members and efficient execution of service recovery, as may be necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carries out best-in-class assistance to VIP members and/or specially endorsed members availing of In-patient or Out-patient HMO services
• Executes seamless service recovery for Members/Clients who have major service complaints
• Ensures availability of LOA and confirms schedule of availment with providers and members
• Liaise with doctors, nurses and hospital staff when needed
• Upholds expertise in delivering VIP assistance and service recovery according to CX's protocols
• Recommends service solutions to further elevate the company's service level that may eventually impact on PhilCare's business objectives and goals
• Monthly submission of performance/ availment with handled members/ accounts
• To take any other responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree graduate of any Medical allied, preferably BS Nursing
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• With good Customer Service, Customer Focus, Phone Skills, Listening, Verbal Communication, Data Entry Skills, Product Knowledge, Job Knowledge, Objectivity, Dependability, and can do Multi-tasking
• Familiar with HR principles, practices and Timekeeping procedures
• Knowledge of MS Office Applications

About the Role

We are looking for a MedTech Customer Support Specialist with a background in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical assistance and customer support for in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) devices and laboratory systems. You'll work closely with customers, field engineers, and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal product performance.

This is a great opportunity for licensed Medical Technologists or IVD Field Engineers seeking a transition into a support-focused role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for IVD devices and laboratory systems to clients and healthcare professionals
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instrument performance, software, or user application
• Document cases, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system
• Collaborate with field service engineers and product specialists to escalate and resolve complex issues
• Maintain product knowledge through continuous learning and training sessions
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, or related IVD field
• Strong understanding of clinical laboratory workflows and diagnostic equipment
• Good English communication skills – both verbal and written
• Experience in technical support, customer service, or field engineering is an advantage
• Open to Field Engineers in the IVD industry who are willing to shift into a technical support role
