What You'll Do:

• Act as a trusted advisor to our global end-users, providing expert agronomic consultation on crop protection, pest and disease management, and crop stress.

• Serve as the primary technical support agent, troubleshooting issues and guiding users through the AgroScout platform and its features.

• Analyze agronomic data collected by our AI-powered platform to deliver actionable, tailored recommendations to growers.

• Develop and contribute to a global knowledge base, creating educational content, FAQs, and best practices for our end-users.

• Work collaboratively with our product and development teams, providing crucial user feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Plant Pathology, or a related field.

• You have 2+ years of hands-on experience in agronomy, with a strong understanding of crop protection and field practices.

• You have 2+ years of proven experience in a customer support or help desk role.

• You are a highly motivated and patient team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

• You are tech-savvy and comfortable with a range of digital tools. You have no problem learning new technologies and are excited by the potential of AI tools in agriculture.

• You are a flexible, self-learning professional who can adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are an absolute must.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Lead and manage agronomy teams throughout the Philippines, ensuring effective coordination and implementation of agronomic activities
• Develop and execute innovative and sustainable agronomic strategies to optimize crop yields, quality, and profitability for rice and corn cultivation
• Provide expert guidance and support to contract farmers on crop production techniques, including planting, irrigation, pest and disease management, and harvesting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in rice and corn production, with a deep understanding of cultivation practices, pest management, and nutrient management specific to rice crops.
• Proven track record of managing and leading a team of agronomists or field officers.
• Strong knowledge of the local rice farming landscape in the Philippines, including familiarity with the challenges faced by farmers and the latest industry trends
• Proficiency in working with computerized systems and agricultural software for data analysis, farm management, and reporting purposes.
• Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and technical documents in English.

• Must be a graduate of BS Agriculture or any agriculture-related course.
• Proven experience in a technical role with a strong track record and a wide network within LGUs for at least 1 year.

• The Agronomist, as an independent contractor shall render, undertake and perform technical extension services on agriculture by way of farmers' meetings in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

• The technical services on agriculture to be performed by the Agronomist shall consist of a program of services as follows:

• Organize and conduct farmers' meetings. This shall include visits to Barangay Captains, Key Farmer Leaders, and other local officials to set schedules of meetings with farmers of specific barangay. This shall also include close cooperation with the Department of Agriculture through its Municipal Agriculturists, Officers, and Technicians, as well as with cooperatives, chemical companies, and other organizations involved in enhancing greater yield in the harvest of crops.

• The Agronomist shall have the following topics to be discussed in the meetings:

a. Nature, use, and effect of fertilizers on crops.

b. Recommendations for the use of specific fertilizers for different crops.

c. Advise on where to acquire quality fertilizer products.

3. The Agronomist shall have the following tasks:

a. Visit regularly the following target clients:

1. Cooperatives

2. Big land owners/Key farmers

3. Trader-financiers

4. Dealers

b. Greater information on fertilizer requirements, sources, and competitor's

activities.

About the Role:

We're looking for an Agronomist with strong data and research skills to support our partner farms and internal operations. You'll play a critical role in gathering field data, optimizing crop performance, and improving post-harvest processes for high-quality produce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct farm visits to build relationships with Partner Farms and collect vital agronomic data
• Maintain and improve farm records to support accurate supply forecasting
• Visualize data into crop calendars, succession schedules, and yield projections
• Research and assess crop variety performance in controlled-environment setups
• Investigate post-harvest treatment and storage methods to enhance quality and shelf life
• Work cross-functionally to support production, packaging, and dispatch operations

Qualifications:

• Degree in Agriculture, Crop Sciences, or Agronomy (specialization in production horticulture preferred)
• Background in crop husbandry, crop protection, or controlled-environment farming (e.g., greenhouse, vertical farming)
