Tasks & Responsibilities:

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for undertaking all production-related accounting and tax activities such as:

(a). Monthly accounting:

• Prepare monthly financial statements

**SCOPE & INTERACTIONS**

1) The position of Manager is expected to be responsible for all of the following works relating to Manila Branch of Asia Pacific Business Unit:
a. Preparation of all accounting related reports and follow up of the other accounting related issues:

- Statutory/Consolidated accounting reports
- Management accounting reports in accordance with the requirement of Asia Pacific Business Unit and Japan HQ
- Coping with external/internal audits including the communication with external/internal auditors

b. Preparation of all tax returns/documents/reports and follow up of the other tax related issues:

- Interim and final tax returns of CIT, VAT and the other tax items
- Tax related documents required under the regulation of Philippines and Manila Branch’s internal regulations/guidelines (e.g. transfer pricing document)
- Calculation of tax cost for financial closing purpose
- Preparation of appropriate documentations for potential tax audits
- Management of existing/future tax audits and disputes including communication with tax authorities

c. Implementation of appropriate process control, in accordance with Manila Branch’s internal regulations/guidelines

d. Implementation of appropriate risk management reports, in accordance with Manila Branch’s internal regulations/guidelines

e. All auxiliary/miscellaneous works necessary to achieve the works listed in above 1) to 4), including provision of support to business divisions relating to these functions
