ATI KONSULTA, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team for a landmark wind power project in the Philippines. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise to the construction of a major sustainable energy initiative.

As our on-site Geotechnical Engineer, you will be the owner's representative, playing a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of foundation works. You will be responsible for on-site verification of ground conditions and witnessing specialized geotechnical testing to ensure compliance with project standards.

What you'll do:

• Provide expert geological oversight during the construction phase.
• Conduct on-site inspections of foundation excavations.
• Witness and review data from geotechnical tests performed by contractors.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure technical specifications are met.

Who you are:

• A Geotechnical Engineer with proven experience in geotechnical site investigations.
• Confident working independently in a field-based environment.
• Possess strong observational, analytical, and reporting skills.
• An excellent communicator, capable of liaising effectively with contractors and clients.
• Ready to commit to a 12-month, full-time assignment on-site.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Candidates who are licensed Mechanical Engineers will have an advantage
• With at least 3-4 years of relevant work experience in the field
• With work experience supervising a group of heavy equipment mechanics and operators in-charge of equipment maintenance and operations
• With good coordination, communication and organization skills
• With Driver's License
• Willing to relocate in Real, Quezon or other project sites

Detailed Job Description:

1. Environmental Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations. This may include air, water, soil, and noise pollution levels.

2. Compliance & Reporting: Prepare reports detailing environmental assessments, violations, and recommended actions. Maintain records of inspections, monitoring results, and regulatory reports.

3. Regulatory Enforcement: Ensure that industries and facilities comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Issue citations or notices of violation when necessary.

4. Pollution Control Measures: Advise businesses, municipalities, and industries on best practices for reducing pollution and improving environmental performance.

5. Public Education & Awareness: Promote community engagement and environmental awareness programs about pollution prevention, waste management, and environmental sustainability.

6. Permit Issuance and Renewal: Assist in the preparation, issuance, and renewal of environmental permits for industries and businesses.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with other governmental agencies, environmental groups, and organizations to address pollution issues and find sustainable solutions.

8. Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA): Assist in the preparation of environmental impact assessments and environmental management plans for development projects.
