JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. MERCHANDISING
1.1 Briefs Refiller/s on the importance of following the merchandising guidelines set by the Client. Briefing includes correct shelf facing, product arrangement, POP Installation, Stock Rotation, inventory reporting, Pricing and other merchandising schemes.
1.2 Ensures competence of all deployed refillers by setting work standards and policies that would ensure productivity mínimal absences/tardiness and good working relationship with the account.
1.3 Evaluates performance of all refillers handled and immediately replaces incompetent refillers.
1.4 Trains new refillers and briefs all support group required for the project i.e., demo ladies, promodisers, and the like.
1.5 Regularly and promptly submits required reports i.e., trade inventory, price surveys and other adhoc requirements.
1.6 Negotiates implementation of various merchandising activities in covered accounts. Identifies business building and merchandising activities in the trade and proactively suggests necessary actions.
1.7 Coordinates with field personnel on merchandising issues and requirements in all accounts.
1.8 Maintains a professional and credible relationship with all supervisors and managers of accounts assigned to him.
2. PROMOTIONAL
2.1 Ensures that activities are implemented based on the approved operational guidelines and in accordance with the proper scheme and procedures stipulated in the Client’s advise.
2.2 Supervises, monitors and controls assigned on-going activities to ensure that all guidelines and procedures are followed.
2.3 Checks on the anomalies occurring at field level.
2.4 Closely coordinates with local Client representative on the specific requirements of the activity.
2.5 Secures necessary permits, nego letters and fees needed for the operation.
2.6 Prepares comprehensive weekly summary report of assigned activities in coordination with Branch Manager and Local Client.
2.7 Ensures prompt and accurate submission of reports and other pertinent information being required by the Branch Manager.
2.8 Accomplishes post operation activities for the assigned projects.
2.9 Reconciliation of stocks, premiums and materials.
2.10 Reconciliation of manpower workdays used
2.11 Reviews operational control system and suggests needed improvements.
2.12 Jointly responsible with the HR/Admin Manager on the screening, testing, interviewing and selecting the personnel for the assigned project.
2.13 Assists in the training and briefing, motivating and developing of the personnel.
2.14 Investigates and imposes necessary disciplinary actions on erring personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- College graduate
- Must have experience/knowledge in merchandising or refilling or Planogram
- Preferably with previous work experience in any Marketing Services Agency
- Can listen and respond to instructions quickly and appropriately
- Personality traits: Has patience, respectful, diligent and responsible
- Willing to accept extended duty (when necessary)
- Willing to be trained and be assigned to any branch or account within the area of responsibility
- Must have motorcycle
