  • Supervises the analysis of affected plant systems and/or sub-systems during incidents with reliability losses, as it occurs and after the generating unit is restored; and for the pro-active development and implementation of quality improvement counter-measures in collaboration with plant production and maintenance team.
  • Ensures accuracy of performance reports (e.g., generation losses report, generation efficiency report, generation rolling forecast, geo performance monitoring report) and monitors/evaluates plant key performance indicators in support of creating operational strategies to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Determines and regularly updates the geothermal steam and/or brine availability and/or decline resource priority allocation to operating units, level of MW dispatch, and standby reserve generating unit capacity, all to optimize electricity production availability, improve steam rate / thermal efficiency and reduce specific operating cost electricity production.
  • As needed, conducts research and business cases in technical collaboration with power plant production and maintenance team, steam field facility operator and/or industry technical solution providers/research firms to provide commercially viable and timely solutions that enable geothermal resource optimization, while minimizing risk of malfunction of geothermal surface facilities and mitigates the losses associated with geothermal fluid decline.

Fuel Management through Geothermal Resources Supply and Services Agreement (GRSSA)

  • Monitors and evaluates geothermal fluid supply quantity and quality from agreed GRSSA specifications and the initiation of appropriate remedies for quality deviations;
  • Conducts monthly meter reading report review in coordination with steam supplier (PGPC) to validate generation data and determine/settle data variances.
  • Ensures, in collaboration with preventive maintenance teams, that instruments, meters and data recorders for steam supply and electricity production meets accuracy requirements for GRSSA and endorses, monthly meter reading for approval and payment on the basis all requirements are satisfactorily complied with;
  • Determines Field Rated Capacity of the prevailing steam supply in coordination with the steam field facility operator, Philippine Geothermal Production Company Inc. (PGPC), with all generating units simultaneously operating at optimum capacity.

Asset Management Policies and Guidelines

  • Adopts and implements Asset Management policies and guidelines in alignment with AP guidelines.
  • Conducts audits of Asset Management policy and compliance to standards. Ensures preventive actions are taken on a timely manner and ensures review is done regularly and policies and procedures are updated as necessary.

The Finance Business Partner Specialist is responsible for the preparation of Financial Reports (Variance Report, Budget, Rolling Forecast and Latest Thinking Forecast). Such Financial Reports will be used in support for the company's operating performance analysis and strategic decision-making. Also responsible for coordinating the activities of financial planning and budgeting to come up with accurate budgets and forecasts for the Company and departments.

Responsibilities (What-How-Why)

  • Collects, gathers, and analyzes variance reports and rolling forecasts of various departments for proper documentation or presentation to top management.
  • Ensure departments are informed of operating cost status versus budget, and coordinate with project owners on contract, billing, and costing matters. Monitor CAPEX and OPEX budgets and analyze utilization.
  • Prepares and ensures timely submission of monthly Rolling Forecast Reports.
  • Prepare schedules for management reports including presentation material packages that assess and reflect the profitability and financial performance of the company, its facilities, and various departments.
  • Provides analysis and explanation of financial performance against the prior year and budgets; progress against key corporate metrics; and pertinent financial highlights at the level of the company's net income, facility's operating income, and departmental expenses.
  • Create, enhance and disseminate templates and forms to be used in submitting, reviewing, consolidating and communicating budgets and financial plans.
  • Support the implementation of budgeting procedures and the preparation of budget guidelines and templates to ensure alignment with company objectives and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate and assist the department heads regarding their departmental budgets and examine their budget estimates and adjustments for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with budget policy, directives and parameters.
  • Initiates the preparation of re-forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year financial plans (e.g., 3-year and 5-year), ensuring timely delivery of outputs in accordance with established schedules and business requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining enterprise financial planning and budgeting systems, including current platforms (Project Titan and Oracle EPM), providing technical and functional support to budget preparers and approvers, and supporting the implementation, integration, and ongoing evolution of any current or future financial planning and budgeting technologies.
  • Prepares financial analysis support and ad hoc reports for decision-making.
  • Prepares financial models for project financing, financial planning and control.
  • Collaborate with FSS Team in the completion and availability of financial information in Oracle Fusion and EPM to ensure timely preparation of management reports, rolling forecast and external reports.
  • Works with the Finance Business Partner Manager in the preparation of Budget Presentation Approval Package
  • Support the execution of external reporting functions to the Board of Investment (BOI), Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), and Department of Energy (DOE) by providing accurate and timely reports related to budget and forecast requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
  • With at least two (2) years of relevant work experience in finance or related functions
  • With strong background in financial planning and analysis, including budget preparation and management
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail and proficiency in computer applications and financial tools.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepares an accurate production plan and make good available for customers in terms of correct quantity and minimal production costs
  • Generates and analyzes requirements plan for Finished Goods Buffer Stocks and submits recommendations to Operations Manager for approval
  • Create Job Orders for Site 1 and Site 2
  • Prepares status report of all Sales Orders endorsed to Operation - current and back orders
  • Assists in expediting production scheduling priorities to avoid delay. Executes necessary alteration in schedules to meet unforeseen conditions in coordination with Operations Manager

Required Skills/Competencies

  • Knowledge of ERP / SAP system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Team player, good communication and leadership skills
  • Production planning skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences or its equivalent
  • At least (2) years related work experiences in Production Planning gained from manufacturing firms.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
