What is this role about?
The Canister Refiller is responsible for safely and efficiently refilling LPG canisters and cylinders, conducting thorough quality checks (including leak testing, weighing, sealing, and crimping), and ensuring proper storage and cleanliness of all canisters. What will YOU do?
- Perform refilling of LPG Canisters using designated filling machines in the filling hall, ensuring accurate and safe operations
- Conduct quality checks on all LPG canisters, including weight verification, leak testing, and proper sealing after refilling
- Ensure proper storage of canisters, both filled and empty, by placing them securely in crates and confirming they are correctly crimped and sealed
- Inspect and clean canisters, sorting out damaged or unfit units, and ensuring all filled canisters meet cleanliness and condition standards
- Assist in equipment setup and troubleshooting, helping prepare tools and systems for use and performing basic troubleshooting as needed
- Report major equipment or safety issues promptly to supervisors or appropriate personnel to maintain operational safety and efficiency
- Participate in training sessions related to health, safety, hygiene, and correct handling of chemicals and equipment
- Support other departments as needed, collaborating with supervisors and team members to complete tasks effectively across operations
- Adapt to varying responsibilities, taking on different tasks depending on the facility's operational needs and priorities
- Provide basic support during facility upgrades or renovations, assisting with work related to maintenance, improvements, or reorganization
