Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or IT operations.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019: Implementation, configuration, and ongoing management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Abide by all Change Management, Service Management and Incident Management processes and procedures. Attend Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings, and Incident Management conference calls as needed.
· Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation and respond to business emergencies.

Requirements:
· BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 3-5 years' experience in managing Linux/UNIX platform and its core services
· Linux/UNIX system administration
· RedHat Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, AWS resources, particularly EC2 instances running Linux.
· DNS Management
· Experience in managing, implementing and maintaining enterprise-level Linux/Unix server administration.
· On-Prem, AWS and other cloud platforms.
· Knowledge of Python programming language is a plus.
· Experience with Ansible automation is preferred.

Individual Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding events for new clients - tool deployment
- Information gathering during client onboardings
- Complete recurring audits and compliance tasks
- Create documentation for IT runbook within given template
- Tool documentation management
- Monitor ticketing queue and dispatch inbound tickets to engineers
- Continual management of all monitoring and alerting
- Creating detailed documentation and procedures
Technical Qualifications:
- 2 - 5 years' experience providing support to end users and IT infrastructure
- Experience creating and managing technical documentation is preferred
- Associates or bachelor's degree completed in a computer technology related program
- Required: Veeam Backup & Replication
Experience and familiarity with the following core technologies:
- Active Directory/Group Policy Administration
- Microsoft Office Suites
- Microsoft windows desktop and server operating systems
- Office365 administration/security
- Virtualization platforms (vSphere experience preferred)
- General experience with MSP systems and ticketing systems
- RMM (remote maintenance and monitoring) solutions
- Backup solutions and disaster recovery (Veeam experience preferred)
- Patch management systems and processes
- Security product management utilized for malware/AV protections
Skills:
- Ability to create detailed, accurate documentation with or without a template

About the Role:
The System Administrator L2 is responsible for resolving Level 1 and Level 2 incidents, ensuring timely and exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate documentation, and continuously developing technical skills. This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to provide efficient support in a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve Level 1 and Level 2 incidents and follow escalation protocols
● Continuously review all tickets and statuses in your queue.
● Respond promptly to colleagues, end users, and partners.
● Follow company, partner, and customer security protocols at all times.
● Assess tickets, escalate when necessary, and document steps thoroughly.

Qualifications:
● Minimum IT diploma level education and relevant Microsoft IT certification.
● Minimum 1 year in a Level 2 role or 2+ years in Level 1 with proven L2 skills.
● Minimum 2 years in a B2B IT support role.
● Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop OS, Microsoft 365/Office 365, virtualization, and networking.
● Experience with FortiGate Firewalls, remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer), and documentation/IT diagrams.
● Strong customer service skills and fluent verbal/written English.
● Certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
