  • Media analysis and competitive Intelligence: media audits, landscape analysis, marketplace competitiveness

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities Include

  • Consult with external clients and recommend research designs that address their needs and align with business objectives.
  • Write research proposals and work with research vendors to develop budget estimates.
  • Create primary research instruments including survey questionnaires and focus group discussion guides and work with clients on the review and approval process.
  • Analyze data, write research reports, and deliver oral research presentations of research findings and conclusions.
  • Recommend communications solutions based on the research results.
  • Participate in integrated research and analytics assignments, which include the use of social and traditional media monitoring and analytics results.
  • Collaborate with internal practice group and industry sector leads to deploy the best research to ensure client success.
  • Manage the collection and synthesizing of data for clients across the social PESO (paid, earned, shared, owned) spectrum.
  • Use a wide range of media listening/aggregation platforms to conduct necessary research functions (e.g., competitive intelligence, sector analysis, customer values, market segmentation, and new product development).

Experience Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience across a broad range of research categories and models.
  • Research specialist experienced in all facets of quantitative and qualitative research (e.g., sample and survey design, focus group moderation).
  • Experience in customer surveys, research, and analysis, as well as measurement principles in consumer research.
  • Results-focused approach and willingness to go the extra mile for clients.
  • Ability to be flexible and precise under aggressive deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data and extract the most salient points that provide important audience or market insights.
  • Capable of and confident in giving presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills; able to translate findings into meaningful positioning strategies.

Accountabilities:
+ Primarily responsible for processing companies which patent records/ information are in Japanese
+ Acts as Japanese Expert who is responsible in providing answers to Japanese-related patent questions coming from the Harmonization Team
+ Data Quality - Conduct in-depth internet research to achieve data quality in patents globally with additional focus on identifying, understanding, and accurately processing Japanese documents/ information
+ Identify patent ownership based on extensive research on corporate structure, M&A, Spin-offs, company name changes, and patent transactions
+ Conduct quality control measures to ensure data is highly accurate and reliable
+ Responsible for validating, updating and verifying customer information in the Harmonizer Tool
+ Ensure updates or changes in customer database are accurate and are meeting quality standards

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree holder
+ Intermediate to Advanced reading and writing proficiency in Japanese (Nihongo)

+ Strong verbal and written proficiency in English
+ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
+ Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams consisting of US and International-based employees, as well as customer resources in multiple locations and time zones

We are looking for a Senior Research Scientist to help us build and expand
Trellix Network Detection and Response. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about solving real problems by turning cutting edge research into operational production solutions. In this role, you will focus on analyzing network-based attacker behavior and develop innovative solutions to address emerging challenges in the field of networking.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Research attacker methodologies and develop innovative solutions to identify detection solutions
+ Knowledge on how machine learning can be applied in networking problems
+ Perform data analysis to measure efficacy and identify methodologies to improve existing solutions
+ Forward Looking Research - Researcher will help develop leading edge prototypes to solve emerging challenges.
+ Threat Analytics - Leverage threat intelligence from different sources, identify patterns to co-relate and establish the origin and flow of attacks.
+ Drive roadmap for detection efficacy and network research operation
**Requirements:**
+ Total 8 to 14years experience with at least three years direct or equivalent experience in areas of network-based threats and other aspects of cyber attacks.
+ Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and network architecture.
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
+ Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
**Preferred:**
+ Hands-on reverse engineering and knowledge of operating system internals.
+ Red teaming experience on various techniques
+ Machine learning experience
