WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday- 8:00am-6:30pm br>SALARY: Up to Php35,000.00 per month
Job Responsibilities:
Product Development:
• Design and develop new ice cream flavors and beverage formulations. < r>• Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to refine products. < r>• Collaborate with marketing teams to align product development with market trends. < r>
Quality Assurance:
• Monitor and maintain product quality and consistency throughout production. < r>• Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. < r>• Investigate and resolve product issues and customer complaints. < r>
Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all products meet federal, state, and local food safety regulations. < r>• Maintain accurate documentation and labeling for all products. < r>• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements. < r>
Collaboration:
• Work closely with production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency. < r>• Provide technical support and training to staff on product handling and safety. < r>• Collaborate with suppliers for raw material sourcing and quality assessment. < r>
Research and Innovation:
• Conduct research on new ingredients and technologies to improve products. < r>• Explore opportunities for sustainable practices and ingredient sourcing. < r>• Participate in industry conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and network. < r>
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant R&D experience in any of the following food industry segments: sauces and syrups (1) & baking and pastry (1). < r>• Strong background in product development, formulation, and sensory evaluation < r>• Familiar with regulatory compliance requirements such as: FDA registration and licensing (LTO, CPR, etc.) < r>• FSCO permits, sanitation certificates, local health permits < r>• Label review and product documentation < r>• Knowledgeable in Halal Certification, GMP, HACCP, and basic food safety and microbiological controls. < r>• Can coordinate with government agencies, 3rd-party labs, and certification bodies. < r>• Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve technical problems in product development < r>• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
