**JOB SUMMARY**:
Responsible for the ingredient preparation and cooking of food orders for restaurant outlets. Cooks all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications. Ensure availability of ingredients for the restaurant’s menu. Completes assigned tasks and assists coworkers in the completion of their tasks. Adheres to SOLID core values, healthy working environment, security and safety guidelines, sanitation regulations, and to the company’s policies and standards.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Performs cooking of the restaurant menus.
- Ensures food taste consistency.
- Label, arrange, and prepare measured dosages of appropriate cooking ingredients and seasonings.
- Keep kitchen area clean and tidy and sanitize utensils and kitchen surfaces.
- Checks periodically for expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section.
- Notifies Senior Cook about the inventory of kitchen supplies and other food ingredients.
- Maintains a positive approach in working with kitchen personnel.
**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Coordinates with the engineering team about the preventive maintenance and repair of different kitchen equipment.
- Performs other related tasks that the immediate officer would find necessary for the improvement of the kitchen services.
