The Network Administrator is responsible for the daily administration and operational stability of the organization's LAN/WAN infrastructure. This role includes supervising outsourced technical staff, overseeing network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring secure, reliable network operations. The incumbent will configure, install, and maintain all network hardware and software in accordance with corporate policies and standards.

1. Network Administration

Manage and maintain all network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.). Monitor performance, implement enhancements, and ensure security compliance. Prepare regular network performance reports and ensure adherence to IT policies.

2. Supervision & Team Management

Oversee daily activities of outsourced IT/network staff, ensuring quality service delivery and SLA compliance. Provide guidance, conduct reviews, and serve as an escalation point for unresolved issues.

3. Problem Resolution

Lead troubleshooting efforts for network issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Maintain issue logs, analyze recurring problems, and collaborate on long-term solutions.

4. Project Participation

Support or lead network-related projects by gathering requirements, providing technical input, maintaining documentation, and reporting progress to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Preferred certifications: CCIE, CCNP, Cisco, Extreme Networks.

• Strong hands-on experience with Network hardware (switches, routers, CSU/DSU); Software (UNIX, Windows OS, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, IP Telephony); and Network management and analysis tools

• Proficient in WAN technologies and large-scale network design.

• Skilled in configuring and securing multi-vendor network environments (Cisco, Extreme Networks, etc.).

• 5+ years in network administration, 2+ years supervising or coordinating outsourced or technical support teams.

The Role

A Network Administrator, will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, security, and availability. You will collaborate with the IT team and various departments to ensure efficient network performance, troubleshoot network issues, implement network upgrades, and provide technical support to end-users.

Job Description

• Manage, configure, and upgrade a wide variety of security technologies (e.g. FW, UTM, IDS/IPS, SSE, EPP/EDR, VPN, DLP, and etc.)
• Respond managed security technology's fault alerts and/or customer's escalation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A.   Functional (60%)

·   Build and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks with focus on Local Area Network and Wide Area Network, traditional and software-defined, wired and wireless.

·   Install and configure LAN and WAN equipment devices and its software as appropriate.

·   Identify, analyze, recommend and implement appropriate system enhancements that will improve the local and wide area network for optimum performance.

·   Enforces security protocol on LAN/WAN network devices.

·   Updating of network equipment to the latest firmware releases.

·   Provides project management in the implementation, installation, configuration, and technical support of LAN and WAN and coordinates projects with the stakeholders.

·   Serves as contact and liaison with vendors; reviews vendor products, and coordinates and facilitates vendor interviews and presentations.

·   Negotiates technical requirements with vendors; establishes contracts and writes technical contract specifications and technical recommendations.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Education : Bachelor degree, preferably B.S. Computer Engineering, B.S. Electronics and Communications Engineering or IT-related course

Experience : At least three (3) years related work experience. Knowledge in banking operations an advantage.

Technical Skills : Proficient in Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Software Defined Network, wired and wireless network technologies and corresponding routing and switching protocols. Strong written and oral communication skills Technical writing skills

Job Description:

• Responsible for handling the data telecommunication lines provisioning activities. Coordinate with telecommunications service providers, business units, IT and other internal support units in evaluating, installing and testing the data telecommunication lines for live network.
• Handle the implementation of Service Improvement Program (SIP) for the data telecommunication lines that fail to meet the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Prepare, assess and recommend upgrades/downgrades based on the capacity planning derived from the data provided by Data Center Services (DCS).
