Our client is a privately owned company. They develop and deliver independent, deep insights research on behaviours, buying preferences and future needs of investors and intermediaries for the financial services companies that service them across Australia, Asia, the US, UK, and Europe.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Lead Analyst will oversee end-to-end research delivery by:

  • Designing surveys and analysis to draw deep actionable insights, and
  • Creating compelling narratives that inform our clients' strategic business decision-making

Reports and Presentations

  • Ensure that results produced are accurate and statistically significant (data cleaning, calibration, ensuring we make apples-with-apples comparisons)
  • Ensure material reviewed is accurate with attention to all required detail, feedback taken on board and analysis amended with all steps of the quality assurance process duly followed
  • Assist with additional quantitative analysis driven from internal reviews or client requests
  • Coordinate other team members as requested to meet delivery deadlines
  • Develop industry knowledge with an aim to understand key questions and improve client presentation and survey design skills

Surveys

  • The Lead Analyst will participate in Survey Input meetings, carry out survey design, determination of panel and collaborate with the Client Services team for infield monitoring
  • As part of the project team, participate in the planning meeting for each study's objectives
  • At the direction of senior Research Team members participate in the client feedback and input process
  • Manage and execute survey testing process and reviews

Contribution Across the Business

  • Respond to requests from other team members quickly, i.e. on the same day if needed, including requests from Growth, Operations and Transformation teams
  • Provide useful and considered feedback to others when reviewing their work
  • Contribute to better processes, practice, technology, and other ways to improve what we do. Share new ideas readily with others

Client Relationships

  • Ensures that client issues or queries are dealt with and/or escalated as appropriate to be satisfactorily resolved
  • Where appropriate, participate in client meetings to better understand and meet their needs
  • Attend client presentations to further understand clients and improve industry knowledge

Qualifications
