**Summary:**
Meta develops and deploys technologies that support connections, communities, and economic growth. The Head of Public Policy, Philippines will lead our Public Policy efforts in a rapidly evolving tech policy landscape. This role oversees strategies and stakeholder engagement to achieve regulatory and policy priorities aligned with Meta's operations and strategy in the Philippines.As Head of Public Policy for the Philippines you will direct policy strategy, engagement, and regulatory initiatives. You will also provide guidance on policy matters at the intersection of technology, society, and government, with a focus on the impact of Meta's products, platforms, and open-source technologies in the context of the Philippines.
**Required Skills:**

1. Leadership and Strategy: Lead Meta's policy engagement, define and implement public policy strategies for the Philippines, ensuring alignment with Meta's global, regional, and local objectives

Do you have the experience in public policy and with government necessary to help further advance the public policy agenda of Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading cloud platform provider? AWS is looking for a talented individual to serve as Philippines Public Policy and APJ Strategic Engagement and Campaigns Manager.
Key job responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Engagements and Campaigns (APJ), the successful candidate will proactively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and drive strategic policy campaigns on policies and regulations that impact cloud adoption. You will address policy risks to the business as well as advance strategic policy opportunities and initiatives, coordinating in and across the Philippines, APAC and global teams. You will become familiar with all aspects of AWS business, and interface directly with the business units. This position will be based in Manila, the Philippines.
- Develop, lead and implement government affairs and policy strategies for AWS to help facilitate an enabling environment for cloud and AI adoption in the Philippines and across APJ.
- Work collaboratively and transparently with policy-makers and regulators to ensure alignment between core business priorities and public policy goals;
- Manage and coordinate external advocacy efforts, outreach programs and key initiatives in concert with AWS business objectives, working closely alongside colleagues in other regions;
- Drive strategic third-party engagement and partnership through industry coalitions, academia, and think tanks;
- Facilitate high-level engagements between AWS executives and key stakeholders, including senior government officials, regulators, industry associations and alliance partners to promote and advocate the company's public policy policies.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development).
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Tagalog.
- 3+ years relevant experience representing a large company, strategic consultancy or industry association before national and local policymakers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of, and background in cloud computing policy developments in APAC.
- An advanced degree in a relevant discipline (Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, etc.) is preferred.
- Demonstrated track-record of achieving meaningful changes to regulatory environment through public policy advocacy, and demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate with, and persuade others.
