About the Role:
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for designing, building, and executing data pipelines and visibility tools to improve organizational performance. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research & Analysis
• Conduct in-depth research on cyber threat events, using OSINT sources and the < r>Recorded Future Intelligence Cloud.
• Identify and assess trending cyberattacks, including ransomware, phishing, software < r>vulnerability exploitation, and other emerging threats.

Reporting & Writing

The Proactive Monitor will be a part of an Operations Center Team in Risk Management. The Operations Centre Team members will actively monitor, in real time, vendor tools, threat alerts, government sources, open sources, and other internal and external sources and tools for incidents that could potentially impact the workforce EY people and/or locations. The Team has a tactical focus and works closely with key stakeholders around the world from Global and Regional Security and Global Travel, Meetings, and Events key stakeholders located around the world. The Proactive Monitor will also verify incidents by cross-checking multiple sources and tracking and updating as necessary. Once incidents are verified, the Proactive Monitor will make notification to notify key stakeholders using pre-established protocols, continue to track and update the incident as it unfolds, and provide follow-on support as directed by key stakeholders. Follow-on support may include, but not be limited to, updating situational reports, running database checks or other system checks, compiling or running reports, making additional notifications, and other tasks as needed.
This role plays a critical part of EY's overall situational awareness and overarching mission to protect personnel, facilities, assets, and reputation by conducting real-time monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of relevant threat and incident information. The Proactive Monitor actively reviews, tracks, assesses and communicates top emerging concerns in a timely, accurate, and relevant manor, and responds and provides follow-up support as directed.
**Essential Functions of the Job**:
The primary role and responsibility of this position will be to work in a team environment and deliver support to EY including, but not limited to:
- Monitor & track incidents for overall situational awareness related to potential impacts to personnel, offices, travel, company meetings and other events.
- Conduct incident verification by cross-checking multiple sources in an established protocol for comprehensive all-source monitoring, collection and analysis of threats and incidents potentially impacting the company.
- Communicate the information in a timely and accurate manner using pre-determine communication methods and processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners to help determine incident and threat impacts to the company and collaborate with other business units on appropriate response.
- Help document and manage incident reporting submitted to the Operations Centre by key stakeholders.
- Remain current on security, Travel and intelligence topics.
- Help develop continuous improvement and industry best practices regarding situational awareness and threat or incident monitoring in an Operations Centre model.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and become knowledgeable about valuable incident response support and follow-up.
