Join Our Team! We're Hiring Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer!
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer specializing in bridge design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience with a strong focus on cable-stayed, suspension, arched, truss, and curved bridges . This role is tailored for an architect with expertise in the early stages of bridge design, from conceptualization to design development (DD), as our projects transition to partnered firms for construction documentation (CD) phases.
As a Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer , you will bring creativity, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of bridge design principles to deliver innovative and structurally sound concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer concepts and preliminary designs for bridges, ensuring aesthetic and functional integrity
- Work closely with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to align designs with technical and site-specific requirements
- Produce design development (DD) documentation, including drawings and specifications
- Provide design insights and solutions for a variety of bridge types, including cable-stayed, suspension, arches, trusses, and curved bridges
- Collaborate with external firms during the transition from design development to construction documentation phases
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and materials relevant to bridge design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer
- Licensed Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer
- Minimum of 10 years of Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer experience, with a primary focus on doing complex/unique bridge designs
- Proven track record of working on cable-stayed, suspension, arched, truss, and curved bridge projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sofistik
- Strong understanding of design development (DD) processes and technical detailing for bridges
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, clients, and external partners
- A portfolio showcasing conceptual and design development work on bridge projects is required
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and collaborate with remote teams during US business hours
