I. Job Summary

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient operational systems within the cold storage facility. The role focuses on process optimization, automation integration, capacity planning, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, accurate, and cost-effective operations while maintaining cold chain integrity.

II. Key Duties & Responsibilities

A. Process Optimization & Layout Planning

• Conduct detailed analyses of existing cold storage operations, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimized workflows.
• Design optimized storage layouts considering temperature zones, FIFO/FEFO product rotation, and safety guidelines.
• Perform process simulations to evaluate potential efficiency gains.

B. Automation & Systems Integration

• Lead the design and execution of advanced automation solutions such as:
• Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
• Conveyor Systems
• Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS)
