The Facility Engineer is responsible for planning and conducting technical refresh and maintenance surveys at various project sites. This role involves assessing the condition of facility infrastructure, equipment, and operational readiness. The engineer develops detailed survey reports and sustainment plans, integrating findings into project execution plans.
This is a nationwide project requiring travel to various project sites across the country.
This position is contingent upon the award of the contract.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan, schedule, and execute technical refresh and maintenance surveys at designated sites to ensure infrastructure remains operational, secure, and aligned with project requirements.
- Conduct assessments of facility infrastructure, utilities, equipment, and operational readiness, identifying deficiencies and risks.
- Prepare comprehensive Facility Survey Reports with technical data, analysis, and recommendations for maintenance and upgrades.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Document survey results and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with project standards.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field; certifications like EIT, PE, PMP are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in facility assessments, infrastructure surveys, and evaluations, preferably in government, defense, or maritime projects.
- Familiarity with maritime security infrastructure, port operations, and surveillance systems.
- Understanding of facility design standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in technical reporting and data analysis for maintenance and upgrades.
