Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Electrical Maintenance Technician to be responsible for the execution of plant electrical and control system preventive, breakdown, corrective maintenance and continuous improvement projects to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. He is also responsible to comply to require SOP's, cGMP, SSOP, HACCP, Quality, Safety and Environmental programs of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps, gear motors, bearings, conveyors, blowers, and related components
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including electric motors, motor controls, relays, timers, switches, breakers, and building wiring
- Operate and maintain utility systems such as boilers, air compressors, centralized air conditioning, refrigerated containers, and cold storage systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance following GMP and safety standards
- Operate and maintain gensets, and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives in the facility
- Conduct electrical control system equipment maintenance and project completion in coordination with Engineering Supervisor as outline in preventive maintenance schedule and approved projects.
- Operates, maintains and troubleshoots various electrical control systems various utilities equipment such as the steam generation system, compressed air system, process water plant, water supply system, waste treatment plant, AHU, refrigerated containers, cold storages and standby generator set according to standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for machine operation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of 4 years technical vocational in basic engineering disciplines (Electrical and controls) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Basic knowledge of GMP, industrial safety standards, and electrical maintenance documentation
- At least 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience as an electrical engineering technician.
- Exposure in a food manufacturing setup is an advantage
