BSE Graduate
- LET Passer
- two (2) years of satisfactory experience in teaching is a plus but Fresh Graduates are also welcome
- Adequate technical competence, good human relations, desirable Christian attitudes and personal qualities of an effective Teacher
- Proficient in both oral and written communication in English or Tagalog
- Good Moral Character
- Proficient in computer programs such as - MS Office, Google Applications, and Zoom
- **Willing to report on-site**

**Salary**: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus

**Chines Preschool Teacher**

Job Summary:
Plans, executes and assesses preschoolers’ Chinese curriculum, instruction and assessment based on the mission, vision,
philosophy, standards and competencies set by the Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool Philippines. Performs other related duties as
needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Instruction Planning & Execution
1.Prepares learning plans that must be anchored to Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool Philippines’ advocated
philosophy/teaching-learning beliefs and curriculum framework. The learning plan and other related
submissions must be submitted promptly
2.Selects and prepares resources necessary in the effective implementation of learning activities/experiences, taking
account of children’s interests and language and cultural backgrounds.
3.Leads in the implementation of daily class routines and learning activities/ experiences to children within agreed
system of supervision, adjusting learning activities/experiences according to children’s responses/needs.
4.Supports children’s access to learning use of appropriate strategies, resources, etc.
5.Leads in the overseeing of and caring for children before and after school and at snack time.
6.Supervises the children on field trips or out of school activities as required
7.Attends and participates weekly curriculum meetings, as well as contributes ideas and accepts constructive
feedback during weekly curriculum meetings.
8.Supports the use of ICT in learning activities/experiences.
9.Displays children’s works in the classroom.
10.Informs the Directress in advance the materials needed for the implementation of the curriculum.
11.Is responsible for the safekeeping of classroom materials and documentation files (e.g. filing of children’s
works/outputs, recorded observations, etc.)

Assessment and Evaluation of Students
1. Monitors, assesses and evaluates children’s responses to learning activities/experiences through observation and other forms of documentation
on a regular basis.
2.Is responsible for keeping and updating documentation of individual children’s developmental progress.
3.Shares with the Co
- Teacher detailed and regular feedback on children’s progress, concerns, etc.
4.Prepares the individual child portfolio.

Management of the Learning Environment
1.Creates and maintains a purposeful, stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
2.Helps the Teacher and Teacher Aide in the care and cleanliness of the classroom, equipment, and materials before
and after school.

Supporting and Guiding Children’s Development
1.Provides positive guidance in managing children’s behavior, reporting difficulties as appropriate.
2.Promotes positive values, attitudes, and positive behavior, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with
established policy and advocated philosophy and encourage children to take responsibility for their own behavior.
3.Establishes good rapport and relationships with children, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding
appropriately to individual needs.
4.Attends to children’s personal needs while in school.
5.Supports children consistently while recognizing and responding to their individual needs.
6.Encourages children to interact with others and engage in learning activities/experiences.
7.Challenges and motivates children, promote and reinforce self-esteem.
8.Promotes in children independence and a sense of responsibility and engenders a sense of fairness in all aspects of
the program.
9.Fosters problem solving and conflict resolution.

Supporting the School
1. Is aware of and complies with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, confidentiality
and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
2.Attends relevant meetings as required.
3.Appreciates and supports the role of staff, colleagues, and other professionals.
4.Provides appropriate guidance to the Assistant teacher and Teacher Aide in keeping and maintaining a safe
environment for children.
5.Helps the Teacher in the preparation of the classroom for Parent-Teacher Conferences or other special events.
6.Contributes to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
7.Performs other related duties as required.

Establishing Relationship and Communication with Parents
1. Liaising with parents.
2.Keeps parents informed of Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool Philippines’ program goals, program activities and other
special events.
3.Constantly and professionally communicates the child’s developmental needs, interests, progress, and concerns with parents/legal guardians.
4.Establishes and maintains positive, professional relationship with parents/ guardians and carers (“yayas”).
5.Prepares the Communication Board on a regular basis.
6.Participates in the planning and preparation for PTCs and other special events, such as Parent Orientation, Family
Day, etc.
