Job Description
Data Management Associates are responsible for supporting the Data Management workstream within the AGS Implementation process for MSP or Procurement Solutions projects. The Data Management Associate is responsible for collecting and tracking incumbent worker data from a variety of sources, analyzing data gaps, validating data and transforming data for upload. The Data Management Associate will be responsible for discovering and resolving gaps in data to prepare the information for loading into a VMS. The Data Management Associate will attend all internal and external project calls, and report workstream status. The Data Management Associate will build the necessary relationships between outside vendors, clients and internal project teams to complete project tasks on deadline and with quality. Data Management Associates will partner with Data Management Analysts to quality check/audit data loads as part of their training. Data Management Associates are also expected to work on various projects including audits, rate card / worker modifications and other general team projects. Data Management Associates are expected to support multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Work within a team to collect, organize and validate data using a proprietary AGS data collection tool
+ Follow up on outstanding data from outside vendors
+ Analyze data for gaps and/or errors in large data sets, work to resolve data issues
+ Prepare load templates for upload into Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
+ Attend and be an active participant in all assigned project meetings, communicate status of projects on weekly client-facing status calls
+ Prepare summaries of data collection status for team updates
+ Follow established project schedule and adhere to deadlines, escalate as necessary if deadlines will be missed
+ Perform peer quality audits on worker and rate uploads
+ Provide support on other various Data Management project initiatives

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 2 to 3 years' experience on IAAS and PAAS databases; SQL Server Databases

Our systems are primarily hosted in the AWS cloud and we manage and maintain a large set of databases technologies to support our business. As a DBA you will use to AWS database management skills to help optimize the creation, deployment and operation of databases technologies across production and non-production systems globally. This position requires solid relational database development skills in addition to specific experience with AWS RDS databases. This role supports critical customer applications that must be operational 24x7 with a 99.99% uptime goal. Responsibilities:As a key member of the SRE and Cloud Operations team, you will use your database and AWS experience in the following areas:
+ Automate the creation of standard database configurations for a wide variety of platforms including Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server
+ Maintain, support and upgrade database systems as required
+ Work with AWS to coordinate mandatory version upgrades
+ Assist development teams with migrations between database platforms e.g. moving Oracle databases to Postgres
+ Troubleshoot performance issues and assist development teams with query optimizations
+ Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation
+ Manage all capacity decisions for production deployments including technology selection, high availability configuration, storage and compute needs, etc.
+ Assimilate knowledge in support of non-relational databases like DocumentDB, Dynamo, Apache Solr, Cassandra, Redis etc.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree holder (Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering preferred)
+ Atleast 2-3 years of overall DBA experience
+ Scripting capability (Python, BASH, etc.)
+ Work experience with Oracle database platform, Postgres database a plus
+ Experience with automation and IaC tools like CloudFormation and Terraform good to have
+ Experience using AWS RDS systems good to have
+ Demonstrated experience solving performance and capacity problems AWS certifications are desirable but not a requirement; we will give you the resources required to study and achieve critical certifications as part of your role
