We are looking for a **Content Writer** to join our marketing team and enrich our marketing asset library, websites with new blog posts, sales guides, and marketing copy.

The Content Writer’s responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types, and proofreading articles before publication.

**Your core responsibilities include**:

- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy for marketing materials to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work for input and approval
- Coordinate with internal team members to produce materials/ articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Promote content on social media
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed

**WHAT YOU NEED**
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or a similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
- A graduate of Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
- Experience in technology or software industry preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities

**Key Requirements**:
Experience with creative, marketing and technical writing is a big plus.
2-3 years of proven experience as a copywriter, digital marketing, advertising or similar role
Has a Bachelors Degree in Communications, English Literature, Journalism, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications or any equivalent field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
Proficient in writing for web and social media
Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication

**Requirements**:

- College level and/or Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a similar field
- 2-3 years proven experience in digital content curation or any related position
