Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Assessment
- Perform patient intake, medical history review, and pre-procedure assessments.
- Provide education on treatment plans, pre- and post-operative instructions, and recovery expectations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after procedures.
IV Therapy & Medication Administration
- Initiate and manage IV lines for hydration, sedation, and other therapeutic purposes.
- Administer medications, injections, and infusions as prescribed.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and documentation of all drugs.
Surgical Assistance
- Prepare operating room, instruments, and sterile fields in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Assist surgeons during aesthetic surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the surgeon's needs and provide instruments and supplies promptly.
- Maintain sterile techniques and patient safety throughout the procedure.
Post-Operative Care
- Monitor recovery, manage dressings, and provide wound care.
- Assist in pain management and complication prevention.
- Provide detailed post-op instructions and schedule follow-up care.
Clinical & Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
- Participate in continuing education and training on aesthetic procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Active PRC license.
- IV Therapy certification preferred.
- Operating room and/or aesthetic surgery experience preferred.
