Customer Escalation Management:

The
Infrastructure Services & Cloud Engineer
is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and management of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing infrastructure systems to ensure stability, scalability, and performance across global networks. The Engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders to assess technical needs, identify deficiencies, develop solutions, and drive them to completion. A key aspect of this role is ensuring superior service and contributing to an environment of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage medium to large-scale global enterprise network infrastructures, including design, deployment, and maintenance of hyperconverged and three-tier architecture environments using Microsoft and VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure supporting cloud migration initiatives, leveraging Microsoft Azure for IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Monitor and manage wireless networks for both remote and corporate locations.
  • Support and administer Microsoft Office 365 environments, including user management and Hybrid Exchange Server configurations.
  • Oversee the migration of on-premises Exchange environments to Office 365 for new ventures.
  • Manage and maintain cloud-based solutions such as OneDrive for Business and SharePoint.
  • Administer Active Directory 2019 and newer, ensuring reliable support of essential services such as DNS, DHCP, and file services.
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune solutions, including Autopilot configurations for device management.
  • Assist with the design and deployment of Microsoft Azure services, ensuring optimal infrastructure performance and scalability.
  • Utilize VMware technologies (vCenter, ESXi, Horizon View) to manage virtualization environments.
  • Support Windows Server environments (Windows 2012 R2 and newer), ensuring secure and reliable server operations.
  • Implement and manage backup and replication technologies, such as Veeam, to ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team on incident response activities, including root cause analysis, threat identification, and remediation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, IaaS/PaaS, and Office 365 environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Intune, and Exchange.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware (vCenter, ESXi, Horizon View).
  • Proficiency with Windows Server (2012 R2 and newer) and associated technologies.
  • Experience with backup solutions like Veeam and knowledge of networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with enterprise storage and data center networking.
  • PowerShell scripting experience for automating infrastructure tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work onsite during night shift hours (between 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM start time).
