**Responsibilities**:

- Develop monitoring solutions, initiating new ideas and enhancing features
- Assist in developing and testing custom management packs using third-party tools such as Silect MP Studio/MP Author as well as automate processes via Powershell and configure dashboards via LiveMaps
- Primarily responsible for the monitoring intake processes involving new service requests, modification and termination of device monitoring
- Perform research, testing, and deployment of Management Packs and custom monitoring configurations being used in the SCOM environment

- Ensure proper turnover of new monitoring procedures to the NOC and other support teams as needed; implement approved procedures and processes
- Monitor the team's workload queue and ensure all tickets are assigned and resolved within the SLA

- Review reports related to monitoring usage and effectiveness prior to distribution
- Perform regular ad hoc IT operational tasks as assigned by SMS Management

**Skills and Experience**:

- A good level of relevant experience in administering/managing monitoring systems in a corporate, global environment
- Possess a Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree or substantial equivalent experience
- Experience in a widely distributed multiple-location environment preferred
- Highly experienced in administration and maintenance of monitoring systems (e.g. Systems Center 2019 Operations Manager, Orchestrator, HP SIM, Splunk) and other related technologies

- Familiarity and knowledgeable in ServiceNow Event Management Ticketing System
