**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the go-to person of the specific location in terms of the knowledge of the in-scope Accounting & Reporting processes (journal entries preparation, reconciliation, reporting and analysis).

**Required Qualifications**
+ University graduate in Accounting/Finance, professional accounting designation (CPA) is an advantage
+ At least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, reporting and/or audit. Experience and knowledge on Investment/ Asset Management industry is an advantage
+ Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. knowledge and application of excel formulas and pivot tables is required); VBA is a plus
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to succinctly engage with business partners and team members
+ Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of the business environment and financial reporting structure to provide value-added analysis

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
br>Administrative
- Oversees the daily Accounting activities required to maintain the Company’s books of accounts < r>- Supervises, directs and reviews the work of the Accounting Team including but not limited to accounts payable transactions, management reports, accounts reconciliations, recording of revenues and expenses, inventory reports, etc.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure of each business unit
- Coordinates monthly and annual closing activities
- Provides financial reports with accurate highlights and analysis of significant variances for presentation to ManComm for the Monthly Performance Review and Planning
- Ensures the timely reporting of all monthly financial information to Company’s business units and support groups < r>- Responds to queries from the President, VPO, COO, and Company-wide Department Managers regarding financial results, special and/or adhoc report requests
Operational
- Develops, implements and maintains sound accounting policies and procedures
- Manages the Group’s Computerized Accounting System Project development, implementation, and monitoring < r>- Leads the preparation of Accounting Department’s annual strategic plans, including implementation, monitoring and completion of action plans and corrective actions for unmet targets < r>- Interfaces with other departments to verify transaction report data, issues and concerns and recommended and/or implement solutions thereof
- Works closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth and timely year-end external audit
- Supports the Finance Department with annual budget/forecasting activities, special projects and workflow process improvements
People Development
- Monitors and analyzes the performance of each Accounting personnel and assist in the establishment of individual’s performance goals and objectives aligned with the Department’s annual plan
- Institutes feedback mechanisms via periodic performance evaluation, on the job mentoring and coaching
- Handles internal personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, abseentism, performance issues, etc.
- Updates knowledge, skills and develop competence through participation in various educational/training opportunities, reading professional publications and pronouncements
Others
- Performs other tasks as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance Management or any related field < r>- Being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
- At least five (5) years of working experience as Accounting Manager
- Working experience with an Accounting firm is a plus
- Outstanding knowledge of Electronic spreadsheet, finance software, including Excel and other accounting package
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Ability to work without supervision and in a team environment
- Highly analytical and extremely flexible
- Willing to be assigned in Makati City
