Your Team

As experts of Avaloq's Web Banking solutions, we are responsible for developing, improving and maintaining the corresponding modules for our clients worldwide. Following agile development processes, we take care of all aspects related to our Web Banking offering by leveraging on our Avaloq Core Platform and tailoring the product to the market demands. You will be part of an international and dynamic team of Software Developers and Business Analysts spread across several locations.

We are looking for a committed and competent technical business analyst to carry out requirements analysis (business and also technical), solution validation and implementation activities.

As a Technical Business Analyst, your task will consist of interacting with clients during the whole project lifecycle to ensure that desired configuration is agreed during solution validation, deployed during the implementation phase and successfully tested during system integration and user acceptance phase.

Since we are also responsible of maintaining the modules/components the team currently owned, you are also expected to do analysis of reported client issues, assess the validity and discuss with the team the possible potential solutions.

Your Tasks

As a Technical Business Analyst, you take ownership and responsibility of your area of expertise which includes:

• Analyze business requirements and processes
• Evaluate possible scenarios and recommend best business and IT solutions
• Design and document business solutions in Avaloq
• Participate in implementation workshops
• Conducting analysis and documentation of use cases to ensure high-quality releases
• Functionally and technically analyze end to end data flow across different application
• Can analyze error logs, database tables, discuss issues with development teams and understand overall application landscape
• Supporting testing cycles, particularly System Integration Testing to validate performance and functionality

• 4-6 years of working experience as Business Analyst (with QA or development support experience).
• Proven track record of working in a similar business analyst role, ideally within banking/finance industry
• Excellent experience of working with software development lifecycles
• Proven track record of working in an agile environment
• Self-motivated, proactive and structured working method with a passion for learning
• Client-orientation and strong communication skills (proficiency in English), with a service-oriented attitude

As a member of the Avaloq Test Automation team, you will be part of a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people that are responsible for a central part of the Avaloq Banking Suite. You will be part of the team responsible for Automation and innovation of test for the Avaloq solution used by banks in the Swiss market. 

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will work in close cooperation with Test Managers, Developers, Release Managers and other key stakeholders with the objective to deliver high-quality automation solutions that meet customer needs and requirements.

Your key tasks

• Give hands-on support to the team with the implementation of the software testing process, e.g. for dedicated testing levels and / on test types
• Define test cases and scenarios for new functionalities
• Support the team in their day to day work with test management tools
• Participate in the creation of new concepts in automated testing and testing strategies

The Regulatory Reporting team is looking for a committed and competent Technical Business Analyst to carry out requirement analysis, solution design and parameterization activities on Legal Reporting domain. As member of the Regulatory Reporting  team you will be part of a small and Agile team that implement high quality and standardized solution for Swiss / European Banks, we work closely together and with other teams, therefore we are looking for a new colleague who – in addition to being independent – also enjoys collaborating with others!

Your key tasks

• Analyse European Bank Authority EBA and Country Regulatory requirements.
• Processes according to bank scope by developing standardized solution with Reporting Tool: Fire, WKFS, ABACUS or similar.
• Help our customer to be compliant with regulators such EBA, BCL, CSSF, SNB, FINMA, NBB, BDF.
• Build and parameterize Regulatory reporting solutions in Avaloq (training will be provided) in an Agile environment.
• Participate in implementation workshops.
• Actively manage Internal and External Stakeholders relationship by communicating regularly during the implementation.
• Place of work Bioggio/Remote with possibility to Join client project  for on-site working group across Europe  and Asia.

• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent Business degree.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills with a service-oriented attitude.
• Proactive, self-motivated with passion for learning and self-improvement.

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Experience with banking industry/systems/Avaloq Banking Suite.
• Experiences with SQL / PLSQL.
• Experiences with Legal Reporting Tool Fire, WKFS, ABACUS  or similar.
