  • Fresh Grad / Entry Level specializing in Sales - Corporate / B2B or equivalent.
Responsibilities

Sales representatives play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue generation. To succeed in this role, sales representatives need a combination of skills and competencies that enable them to effectively engage with customers, close deals, and achieve sales targets. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, actively listen to their needs, and articulate product or service features and benefits clearly.

  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with customers. Must have the ability to develop trust, understand customer needs, and maintain ongoing relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

  • Persuasion and Negotiation: Need strong persuasive skills to influence customer decisions and negotiate deals effectively. Must be able to highlight the value of products or services, address objections, and find mutually beneficial solutions.

  • Product Knowledge: Should have a deep understanding of the products or services they are selling. This includes knowing the features, benefits, and competitive advantages to effectively position the offerings and address customer inquiries.

  • Goal Orientation: Should be highly motivated and goal-oriented. They should have the drive to achieve and exceed sales targets, as well as the ability to stay focused, work under pressure, and persist in the face of challenges.

  • Adaptability and Resilience: Sales environments are dynamic and ever-changing. Sales representatives need to be adaptable, able to quickly adjust their approach, and resilient in the face of rejection or setbacks.

  • Problem-Solving: Should possess strong problem-solving skills to identify customer needs, address objections, and find creative solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Organizational and Time Management: Know how to prioritize their tasks, manage their time efficiently, and stay organized. Should be able to balance multiple customer interactions, administrative duties, and sales activities.

  • Technological Savviness: In today's digital world, sales representatives need to be comfortable using technology and sales tools. This includes CRM systems, online communication platforms, and other sales-related software to streamline processes and manage customer relationships effectively.

  • Continuous Learning: Successful sales representatives have a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning. They stay updated on industry trends, refine their sales techniques, and seek opportunities for professional development.
