JOB DESCRIPTION:

The IT Business Systems Analyst (Lead) leads a team of analysts responsible for the analysis of new business system development and existing system improvement. Allocates analysis team resources and monitors deliverables to ensure client needs are met successfully. He/She together with the team functionally design, implement, maintain, and support IT and information systems to meet the business needs of organizations and scale as organizations grow. They analyze and validate test scenarios for the QA and develop specifications and requirements for software developers to follow.

LEADERSHIP

  • Adheres to CTI/Filinvest group standard and ensures compliance across IT systems development changes and maintenance processes and resources.
  • Plans, organizes, controls, implements and evaluates IT systems development, enhancement maintenance processes, resources and activities to ensure correctness, completeness, timely, reliable and acceptable performance levels of systems, enhancements and fixes.
  • Reports problematic or weak areas in the IT systems development, changes and maintenance processes and resources and coordinates to implement strategic solutions in time.
  • Manages resources by securing, training and coaching members, communicating job/project/phase & cycle expectations and appraising their performance vis-à-vis such expectations.
  • Ensures data security and personal data privacy are observed before, during and after the execution of the QA phase or exercise.

TECHNICAL

> Manages the system or IT-related solutions lifecycle

  • Sets the applicable methodology, processes, procedures and documentation that would be used for a particular systems development, enhancement or fix and cascades and secures understanding and acceptance of the stakeholders.
  • Reviews and confirms alignment of IT-related solutions and services or changes in these to address customer requirements, maintaining a balance between user needs, software and service design, IT infrastructure and facilities configuration and industry best practices and processes.
  • Reports to the Project Manager related to the status development, change or fix vis-à-vis the target for the same.

> Performs IT Systems Development and Implementation

  • Clearly and completely defines application problems, gaps, new or changed requirements by conferring with clients (internal and external stakeholders); evaluating procedures and processes and solutions available in the market to meet them
  • Develops the appropriate solution by establishing scope, problems and areas for improvement, requirements and specifications. Recommends alternatives and getting concurrence on final specifications either thru solution implementation, cut-over/parallel or phased implementation.
  • Controls solution by establishing and documenting specifications in the form of business rules, process and workflow diagrams, data mapping, flowcharts, system configuration, story boards and mock-ups and coordinating production with programmers and testers.
  • Liaise between business users and development team; translate functional requirements to highly technical specifications; and highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements so that all stakeholders have clear and complete understanding of requirements, strategies and expectations.

> Provides Implementation/Roll-out Support

  • Completes and updates functional specifications and operations document (inclusive of reference files and codes used in configuration) of the system or software as it is deployed and changed or enhanced in time.
  • Assists users during their review and simulation process of the proposal and secures their acceptance of the system.
  • Assists in the turn-over of the system to the Application Support by providing information on functionalities and features, integration within and with other systems as specified in the system documentation.

> Provides Maintenance Support

  • Assists the QA and Application Support team in assessing unknown or unusual behavior in production that may not be currently covered by the development or change or differently used in the current system.
  • Sets work-around and data fixes to mitigate the impact of incorrect system behavior caused by a bug, changed or mis-captured requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Very good communication skills both written and oral.
  • 2 to 4-year experience in software development and deployment, business analysis and process improvement.
  • Minimum two (2) years of functional analysis developing in-house applications from the ground-up and implementing packages and solutions
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in and related experience in any or combination of Web, Mobile, C/S development on Microsoft platforms
  • Experience in change management, user training and system deployment skills.
  • Preferably, with experience liaising with vendors and industry partners.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or related discipline of the system assignment required;
  • Required SDLC (waterfall and preferably, Agile) Preferably CMMI or ISO Certification Preferably with ITIL Training and Certification.
  • Real Estate, Tenancy and Leasing and Property Management, Hospitality, Utilities, HR, Supply Chain and other group applications experience is a strong plus.
  • Willing to be assigned in Alabang.
