Accounting Specialist (Cost Accounting)

The client is an established global agriculture company that is based in the US.

The Accounting Specialist (Cost Accounting) responsibilities are:

• 
  
  Provide balance sheet outlook and variance analysis against actuals
• Review internal controls of various accounting and reporting processes and recommend areas of improvement
• Liaise with Shared Service Center for General Ledger accounting including reviewing and approving journal entries.
• Assist in preparing reports to ensure local compliance to different government agencies
• 
  
  Ensure accuracy and timelines of different management reports including month-end reports, quarterly reports and regular management reports (as needed by the business)
• 
  
  Assist with the month-end close through collaboration with functional business leaders
• 
  
  Assist with internal and external audit requests
• 
  
  Ensure 100% compliance with to relevant regulatory compliance such as SEC and local government
• 
  
  Assist and help on other projects or ad hoc tasks as assigned by the direct manager

The successful Accounting Specialist (Cost Accounting) is:

• CPA is a must
• Extensive cost accounting experience
• Accustomed to multinational corporations
• Balance sheet outlook and variance analysis
