Full Job Description

Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

As the Accounting Head at Gigahertz, you will 

• Lead our accounting department - Supervise and mentor a team of 10 accounting personnel to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation, and general ledger activities.
• Oversee all accounting operations –
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations - Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate the annual audit and tax compliance process.
• Provide Strategic Guidance to Senior Management 
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

We believe in work-life balance, and so we normally don’t work Saturdays. In cases where we lag behind our goals, we come in briefly on Saturdays to catch up.

Location:

Php 75,000 – Php 150,000
