Full Job Description

Technical Skills Required:

  • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Post-graduate studies or Licensure Certification is a plus
  • At least 2 years extensive experience in General Accounting, Taxation, Payables, Billing and Collection with companies with at least Php1 Billion Annual Turnover
  • Extensive experience using SAP and/or any other computerized accounting software such as but not limited to Oracle, Microsoft Navision, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.
  • Above average MS Office Proficiency (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Data Analytics and Dashboards is a plus

Soft Skills Required:

  • Highly analytical but can work effectively and efficiently with a team
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Has confidence in what he/she excellently does but has the humility to continuously learn and improve
  • Exhibits good work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Has integrity

Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Diligently prepare check vouchers and check while ensuring compliance to company policies and government regulations such as tax laws, etc.
  • Make appropriate accounting entries, accruals, amortization, and depreciation, etc. in the cash disbursement book and journal book daily
  • Monitor, coordinate and facilitate payment of accounts to suppliers/providers timely but cordially
  • Submit accurate and timely weekly disbursements reports
  • Prepare accurate and timely weekly aging reports per business unit
  • Update regularly the Books of Accounts.
  • Ensure collection of BIR Form 2307 and VAT Zero-Rating/Tax Exemption Certificates (if applicable) from clients
  • Actively assist in the preparation of accurate and timely tax returns and schedules
  • Fully participate and provide support during interim and year-end audits with the external auditor
  • Thoroughly adhere to the agreed and approved work instructions
  • Learn and regularly update on recent accounting standards, tax regulations, government compliances, etc.
  • Perform outstandingly other tasks that may be delegated from time to time
