Location: Makati (US Shift)


Job Summary

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day operations, ensuring operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and profitability. This role develops and implements operational strategies, manages teams, optimizes processes, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee daily business operations across multiple departments and functions.
  • Establish performance metrics and monitor operational effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.


Process & Performance Management

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Implement best practices, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure achievement of operational goals.
  • Resolve operational challenges and implement corrective actions.


Financial Management

  • Manage operational budgets and resource allocation.
  • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Ensure operational activities contribute to profitability targets.


Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop managers and operational teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.


Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical operational issues.


Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain quality standards and oversee audit readiness.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of progressive operations management experience.
  • Proven experience leading large teams and managing complex operations.
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies and operational best practices.
