Job Summary:


The Head of Commercial Credit for Metro Manila provides strategic leadership in managing the Bank’s commercial credit portfolio by ensuring sound credit risk management, high quality credit evaluation and credit governance. He/ She leads the team in maintaining portfolio quality, supporting business growth through prudent lending decisions, and driving operational excellence as well as partners with senior management on strategic initiatives while overseeing day-to-day operations and performance of the team.


Role Exposure:

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage
  • At least 5-10 years of progressive management experience leading large teams and managing complex commercial portfolios
  • 10 to 15 years of progressive commercial credit and/or commercial lending experience with a leading universal, commercial, or international bank
  • Demonstrated experience in handling, assessing or approving various types of commercial and corporate portfolios across multiple industries

Job Summary:

The Strategic Procurement & Awards Officer manage and oversee the end-to-end commercial bid process for major and special IT/Non-IT requests, including due diligence, evaluation, transaction development, recommendations for approval, and negotiation strategies to support award decisions. Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, SME Banking, Relationship Management, Account Management, or Business Development within a financial institution.
  • Proven experience in credit evaluation, financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, and credit proposal preparation.
  • Experience in managing and growing a loan portfolio while maintaining acceptable asset quality is an advantage.
  • Strong strategic thinking, client relationship management, and negotiation skills.

Job Summary:

The Corporate Planning Officer supports the Bank’s institutional planning framework by helping develop and coordinate long-term and annual business and financial plans aligned with the President’s Balanced Scorecard (BSC). The role consolidates inputs from various Business Units, conducts research and analysis, and ensures the accuracy and consistency of planning outputs. It also assists the Corporate Planning Head and Financial and Control Sector (FCS) Head in driving strategy execution, performance management, and key corporate planning initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing planning templates and reports, monitoring Business Unit strategy implementation, and tracking performance against strategic objectives. Through close collaboration with partner units such as SID, FPAD, RMG, and other stakeholders, the position strengthens planning discipline and supports the Bank’s overall business and financial performance.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination of institutional planning activities with SID, FPAD, and other units to ensure effective implementation of the Bank’s strategic directions, programs, and projects.
  • Assist in strategy formulation and execution by supporting the development of strategic goals, action plans, and special projects aligned with institutional objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support corporate development initiatives, including investment and divestment decisions, while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Help maintain and update the Bank’s 5-year rolling financial and capital plan and support the capital budgeting and allocation framework to align BU priorities with organizational goals.
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and relevant financial and operational management information reports and performance analyses to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Review and validate product, service, and channel performance through ROI/ROE assessments and MIS analysis to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Provide economic, banking, and industry research, maintain management information databases, and respond to planning and budgeting-related data requests across the Bank.
  • Support the preparation, consolidation, and validation of reports, presentations, and data for Board and Management Committees, while performing other planning-related tasks as assigned.
  • Carry out additional duties as may be assigned from time to time to support Corporate Planning and institutional planning objectives.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields such as Finance, Economics and Accounting is required
  • Advantage if CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • At least 2-3 years relevant experience in any of the following like Corporate planning, Financial planning and analysis (FP&A), Strategy/management consulting, Research, business analytics, or forecasting, Risk management or budget planning
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., FPAD, SID, RMG)
