Team Lead — High Performing Departments

Remote | Competitive Monthly Wage

About the Role

Fusion Growth Partners is seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee one of our high-performing production departments. This is a leadership-first role: you will not be hired to personally produce the work, but to manage, coach, and hold accountable the team that does.

Depending on your background, you may lead a team specializing in:

Video Editing & Motion Graphics Graphic Design & Branding Email Campaigns Database Management Social Media Content & Scheduling Website Development & Maintenance Digital Marketing Campaigns Transaction Marketing

While each department has its own tools and technical demands, every Team Lead at Fusion is measured the same way: on their ability to manage people, manage volume, and manage deadlines. This is a management role first — subject-matter expertise is what determines which team you lead, not whether you're qualified to lead one.

About Us

Fusion Growth Partners is a business incubator and micro-venture capital company that invests in small service-based businesses and real estate professionals, helping them scale their clientele, systems, and profitability. Our "Partnership as a Service" model earned us recognition as the 813th fastest-growing company in America by Inc. 5000, and we now have more than 300 team members worldwide.

We operate in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment where every task matters and every day brings shifting priorities. If you're a natural leader who stays composed under pressure and knows how to get a team to hit tight deadlines without sacrificing quality, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists in your assigned department Conduct regular quality reviews and deliver actionable, specific feedback Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members Set performance standards and hold the team accountable to them Serve as the first point of escalation for time-sensitive issues

Production & Workflow Management

Manage a high-volume pipeline with multiple competing priorities and deadlines Triage incoming requests and allocate work based on urgency and team capacity Monitor workload distribution to ensure timely, consistent delivery Build, document, and refine SOPs and workflows for your department Identify bottlenecks and implement fixes that improve turnaround time

Quality Control & Standards

Review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment before they go out Identify recurring quality issues and address them with targeted training, not just correction Maintain the department's standards even as volume and headcount grow

Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Track key performance metrics and report progress to leadership Work with project managers and other department leads to keep priorities aligned Communicate risks and recommendations clearly and proactively Requirements

Required

2+ years of experience directly leading or managing a team — not just senior-level individual contributor experience. You should be able to speak concretely about hiring, coaching, and holding people accountable to deadlines and quality. Excellent English communication Experience managing a high-volume, deadline-driven production environment Proven ability to prioritize and delegate based on urgency, capacity, and impact Experience building or improving workflows, SOPs, or production processes Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills Comfort making fast decisions without sacrificing quality standards Proficiency with task/project management systems (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar)

Department-specific (varies by team)

Video Editing / Graphic Design: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and a strong grasp of visual storytelling and brand consistency Email & Database: Familiarity with CRM/ESP platforms, database hygiene, and campaign workflows Social Media: Understanding of platform-specific content strategy, scheduling tools, and engagement metrics Website Development: Working knowledge of CMS platforms and front-end troubleshooting

A note for applicants: If your background is strong on the technical/creative side but light on formally leading a team (managing people's performance, schedules, and development — not just producing your own work), this likely isn't the right fit yet. We're specifically looking for people who have already done the people-management part.

Preferred

Experience managing a remote or distributed team Familiarity with AI-powered tools and workflow automation relevant to your department Experience in the real estate marketing space BenefitsWhat We Offer Competitive monthly wage A supportive, fast-moving team culture Real ownership over a department's output and growth The chance to make a meaningful, visible impact every day

Job Description

Permanent

This is a remote position.

Compensation is variable between $600–$1,400/month while working from home!

About the Company Fusion Growth Partners is a business incubator and micro-venture capital company. We invest in small service-based businesses and individual real estate agents with proven track records, helping them scale their clientele and profits through our "Partnership as a Service" model. We were recently named the 813th fastest-growing company in America by Inc. 5000, and we're a team of 300+ continuing to grow. About the Role We're hiring a Graphic Designer on a pay-per-project basis to create marketing visuals for our real estate and small-business partners — think listing graphics, social media content, brochures, and branded templates. This is ongoing contract work with a steady project pipeline: designers who deliver consistently strong, on-time work can expect a predictable monthly volume in the $600–$1,400 range.

How Pay Works

You're paid per completed project. Each project type is assigned a flat rate based on the average time it takes to complete at a standard hourly rate — so faster, efficient work is rewarded rather than penalized. There is a 30-day probation period during which project rates are lower while we confirm fit and workflow. Full rates apply after probation is successfully completed. Typical monthly earnings for a consistent contributor fall in the $600–$1,400 range depending on project volume and complexity, discussed in more detail during the interview process. Requirements

Responsibilities

Design logos, social media graphics, brochures, and email templates for real estate and small-business clients. Turn around revisions promptly based on written feedback (occasional live Zoom check-ins as projects require). Keep design work aligned with each client's brand and messaging. Manage your own project queue and communicate proactively on timelines. Stay current on design trends relevant to real estate and small-business marketing.

Ideal Candidate

A strong portfolio showing range across digital and print design - illustrative work and typography a plus. 1+ years of professional design experience (agency, freelance, or in-house). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop, and InDesign). Comfortable communicating in written English; conversational English for occasional calls. Self-directed — able to manage multiple small projects without close oversight. Bonus: basic copywriting ability for design-adjacent text (headlines, CTAs).

Equipment

A computer capable of running Adobe Creative Suite smoothly. Reliable high-speed internet. Dual monitor. Benefits

Why This Role

Steady, recurring project pipeline rather than one-off freelance work. Flexible schedule. Opportunity to grow into higher project volume and rates as you build a track record with us.
